Speakers:
Doug Cameron (7:00 minutes in video) served as a Senator for NSW for more than a decade, was National Secretary of the Australian Manufacturing Workers Union for 12 years, and Vice President of the Australian Council of Trade Unions.
Retired Major General Michael Smith (25:45 minutes in video) served in the Australian Army for 34 years. He has worked for the Australian Government and the UN in a range of countries including PNG, Timor-Leste, Libya and Yemen. He is a founding member of the Australian Peace & Security Forum, and is eminently qualified to provide a view on Australian national security issues and Defence policy.
Kellie Tranter (47:45 minutes in video) is a lawyer, researcher and human rights activist. She is a Patron of IPAN and chaired the IPAN People's Inquiry 'Exploring the Case for an Independent and Peaceful Australia'.
